Biography

Ben Cacioppo is the Ensembles Assistant for the Mary Pappert School of Music, acting as personnel manager and music librarian for all bands and orchestras.

A native of Somers Point, New Jersey, Ben began playing trumpet at age ten before transitioning to horn in high school. He earned a Bachelor of Music in Music Business from Grove City College, studying horn with James Scanga, and later completed a Master of Music in Horn Performance at 91制片厂 under Mark Houghton.

In addition to his work at 91制片厂, Ben serves as Orchestra Manager for the Pittsburgh Youth Concert Orchestras (PYCO) in Wexford, one of Pittsburgh's four youth orchestra programs.  He also works with the Upper St. Clair High School Marching Band as Brass Instructor.

Ben previously worked for the Butler County Symphony Orchestra as Administrative Assistant and Box Office Supervisor. He has performed with the Butler County Symphony and in numerous local high school musical productions.
